The Project Ballet in Education Performance
The State Ballet of Rhode Island is proud to present The Project Ballet in Education — a unique performance experience designed to bring the beauty, history, and magic of ballet to students and the community.
As part of SBRI’s mission to create, present, preserve, and share the great repertoire of classical dance with the widest possible audience, this program offers more than just a performance — it’s an opportunity to inspire, educate, and spark a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
This season’s featured work is A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare’s whimsical comedy where the worlds of mortals and magical fairies collide in a night of romance, mischief, and enchantment. Originally premiered in 2015, this year’s production is a vibrant new collaboration between SBRI’s resident choreographers, talented company dancers, guest artists, and actors — creating an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
Made possible in part by The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts and a RI Culture, Humanities and Arts Recovery Grant, The Project Ballet in Education continues to bring high-quality, engaging performances to our community while supporting the next generation of artists and art lovers.
